Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed by leading international standard setters to define worldwide recognised requirements. These ensure the organic status of textiles – from the harvesting of the raw materials through processing up to labelling. In this way, GOTS provides consumers with a credible certification.

WHAT DOES GOTS MEAN?

GOTS-certified products meet the requirements of the Global Organic Textile Standard for fibre content, processing and labelling along the supply chain. Which of our products are GOTS-certified is stated on the respective product page.

Organic Content Standard (OCS)

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international, voluntary standard that provides chain of custody verification for materials originating on a farm certified to recognized national organic standards. The standard is used to verify organically grown raw materials from the farm to the final product. Individual sites are certified by independent, third-party certification bodies using annual audits. Material is tracked from the farm to the final product following the requirements of Textile Exchange’s Content Claim Standard (CCS).
